Maybe I am a little dense but to vacuum carpet its such a pain. Its like working against the grain. It picks up fine on tile but not on carpet. Maybe I just dont know how to use it but this is not good if you have carpet unless you want a workout pushing this across the carpet.

I love, love LOVE this little vacuum! I have a lot of bare floors in my house, and I have dogs and cats. I use this little vacuum instead of the broom because it picks up more than my broom does! Lots of times I've emptied the dust cup and I couldn't believe how much dust and pet hair was in it, and it still had suction! This would be a great vacuum for anybody that can't "wrestle" with the bigger/heavier vacuums, like an elderly person, or even someone who doesn't have very much upper body strength. I like it so much that I have 2, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. The only dissappointment I have with it is the cord is not long enough, so I just connected the cord to an extension cord, and even with more cord length, it still wraps around the cord storage hooks on the back. I use it about every other day, and I've had them for about 5 or 6 years. I bought mine at WalMart for about $20.00 each. When they give out, I will definitely buy another.

I use this on my laminate and tile. Works great. Not really for carpets. I didn't buy this for carpets, so I am super pleased. Lightweight and great suction. It does have a cord, so if you are looking for cordless, look elsewhere. This is my first review of anything and am glad to pass this on. If you want lightweight and great suction, BUY THIS VACUUM !!!

Works very well, have a 1 bedroom apartment, it works very well but the cord is pretty short and I also had to empty it out a few times while I cleaned. It also didn't pick up everything the first time, but still works very well. I'd recommend it because it certainly is a great deal!
