If you're looking for a carafe that truly keeps coffee hot and fresh, this is it. I make 12 cups, and this carafe holds the whole pot. The only down side is that cleaning the lid is a bit tricky. I let it air dry for a good 24 hrs. before putting it back on.

This Carafe keeps your coffee hot for over 24 hours easily. I followed someone else review here and I put hot water in the carafe to make the inside of the carafe hot. Then I dump the hot water out of it and I put in my coffee. This keeps the coffee hot all day long. There is though 2 flaws with this carafe that I have noticed. The first one is that it pours real slow and you need to tip the carafe to a 90 degree angle and beyond to get the coffee to pour out. Anybody with bad shoulders will find this to be more difficult to pour coffee than other traditional coffee carafes. The last thing is that the carafe lid builds up coffee condensation in it which makes it difficult to clean inside of it. All you can do is rinse the best you can inside the inner parts of the lid and hope it will clean any condensation remains. If you want your coffee to remain hot, you wont find any better. Just remember that these minor flaws come with it.

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE ZOJIRUSHI PREMIUM THERMAL CARAFE. THE 1.85 LITER IS A GREAT SIZE. I PERK COFFEE ON THE STOVE AND THE COFFEE STAYS PIPING HOT FOR AT LEAST 4 HOURS. I LOVE THE PUSH BUTTON OPEN AND CLOSED POURING FEATURE. IT IS VERY EASY TO OPERATE. I HAVE USED MANY CARAFES OVER THE YEARS AND THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST CARAFES I HAVE PURCHASED AND I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY ANOTHER IN THE NEAR FUTURE AND I WOULD HAPPILY RECOMMEND THE ZOJIRUSHI BRAND.

very happy with the carafe. I like the way that the top screws on to make it a part of the discharge system. Over all a good product.

This product does just what I want to. the size is a bit bigger than I had antispated, but I find that this is also a nice feature. It keeps liquid hot for eight or more hours.
