My wife loves this thing, couldn't have done better with a gold necklace. She doesn't need to get near the little creatures and it pulls in everything. One small issue I had to fix the switch already, good thing I do things like that. Otherwise this is a good device priced right.

Although a great and humane idea, this bug vac is not built to last. We've had it less than a year, and it's nearly dead. Parts have cracked, the AC connector came loose, and now we get about 5 minutes use from a day-long charge. We'll just rely on our regular vaccum, which is bagless and--although giving the bugs a bit of a ride--enables us to release them outside.
We would also warn folks in the south that this thing has trouble with serious bugs--like the so-called palmetto bugs we get in South Florida. They are too big and strong to be easily sucked into this device.

Ok...this is my 3rd try at this "Long-Reach Vacuum" and hoping this one will last more then a month. So far so good as it's been 3 weeks and it still works! (Not a month thow) I have had 2 before and each one's moter and on-off switch stoped. I'm trying to give a good review, but it still hasen't been a month so I'm still not sure. If this one does the same as the other 2, I WILL NOT ORDER Again....as that will be 3 strikes your OUT! and if it does keep working...I should'nt have to worry about ordering another one..right??
So as of now....am happy....
hope I stay that way....

I've had mine for about a year, and it worked great the whole time! Lots of power, and was easy to empty. But all of a sudden it died. I tried to turn it on (had been plugged in to the recharger), and nothing happened. Now I'm left wondering what to do with it. Maybe a back scratcher??

I RECEIVED THE BUG VACUUM IN A TIMELY BASIS. IT WORKS FINE AND THE SUCTION IS STRONG. HOWEVER, I HAVE HAD TO USE SOME OF THE PARTS FROM A PREVIOUS UNIT TO MAKE IT MORE EFFICIENT AND ALSO HAD TO INSERT CYLINDRICAL GLUE TRAP IN THE TUBING TO KILL THE BUGS AND SPIDERS. WHEN THE TRAP IS FULL THEN I CAN REPLACE IT AND IT IS VERY CLEAN. I WISH THE MANUFACTURER HAD THOUGHT TO USE THIS METHOD IN THEIR UNIT. IT IS A LOT EASIER TO DEAL WITH. OTHER THAN THAT, I AM SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE AND THE UNIT.
