Keeping the standard of clean set on high, Hoover introduces the new Windtunnel T-Series family of bagless upright vacuums, combining sleek, lightweight design with superior cleaning power that is easy to use, at a practical price. This hi-tech bagless vacuum has ingenious options, such as fingertip controls conveniently located within reach on the handle and a height adjustment feature to ensure roll brushes are at the proper height. A cord clip is just below the handle on the back side of the unit and it keeps the cord out of the way while cleaning. Requiring minimal maintenance, the Windtunnel T-Series has a rinsable filter that can be easily cleaned under running water and a high quality HEPA filter - neither of which will need to be replaced with proper care. The Windtunnel T-Series vacuums feature Hoover's patented Windtunnel technology with air passages that trap dirt and channel it into the dirt cup, significantly minimizing blowback or scatttering back onto the floor. While each model is lightweight, they offer full Hoover power for a deep down clean and no loss of suction.(Per IEC60312 4th Edition, clause 2.9. Test results within accepted variability tolarance of 5%). All models have specially designed tools for cleaning tough to reach areas.

I purchased this vacuum after seeing it in action at my parents house. They've had theirs for about 6 months now, and I've had mine for about 2. It is a fantastic vacuum. It's relatively basic, but it does have a good flexible hose, a power brush that rotates when attached to the hose, and a crevice tool. Suction is great, and I love the fact that the canister opens from the bottomto empty.

bought this in june 2010 and have used it continuously since then.
excellent product design. easy to assemble. convenient handles, top and mid, and on/off switch near handle. easy foot peddle control of vertical stack. dumping the cylinder much easier and cleaner than loading and unloading a traditional bag. only two easily accessible filters to deal with. very clever red/green vacuum level indicator.
amazing suction. a good thing. brush tool works great for surface cleaning. floor intake really pulls the stuff off of and out of rugs. but you almost have to be careful when using the hand tools. haven't tried the spinning brush tool yet.
also steers straight. other vacuums can steer off to one side.
very quiet compared to most other vacuums i've owned or used elsewhere.
would be good if the hose and extension tube were longer. and the flimsy shipping box arrived partially open. oh well.
overall great product and well worth the ~$100 price.

We were looking to replace our Eureka BOSS vacuum, and ended up purchasing a TSeries Hoover WindTunnel. We've been very satisfied so far. It is lightweight, super easy to put together (my wife did it herself), and picks up dust and dirt. It was amazing seeing everything that came out of our carpet, going from a bagged to bagless model. I personally would recommend this product. I have allergies, so the HEPA filter is a necessity. You really can't beat this thing, for under $100.

I'm quite surprised at negative reviews. Of course, I'm not sure how high my expectations are as I have not owned that many vacuums. However, I do find that this does its job really well, vacuuming every last bit of pet hair out of my carpet - and that never happened to me before ! I chose it mainly because I was interested in something bagless, so I would not have to purchase bags, and the washable filters were a huge plus - no filters to buy either, you just clean them yourself. I've done so several times already with no problem whatsoever - easy and efficient. If you're a neatfreak, you're in control without having to spend more on clean bags and filters. I used to have a Eureka Boss with allergy filters. I liked it fine, I thought it did a good job, but when I got this one I realized how much I was missing. We are in a small carpeted apartment with a dog (half chow half shepherd) who sheds a lot, and never before was I able to get rid of all the hair so completely (I got down to the floor and checked!). This makes me happy to vacuum and I do it every 2 days now! I will admit it is louder than the previous one I owned, but it's worth it. It's pretty light, and its design is more aesthetic and smarter too - sure the parts themselves are a bit cheaply made, as expected. The cord is long enough for my taste, and I didn't get the model with retractable as I figure this breaks fast anyway and it only saves a couple seconds. Overall, it's the best I've had.

Bought it for its price. The vacuum power is good for a vacuum that I paid $[...] for. Took it home and was only able to use it twice. Had a loud annoying constant screeching pitch both times. Screeching came from the motor and not the wheels as it would still screech in a still position. When I used it a few days later, I accidentally ran over the vacuum cord. The cord was so flimsy that it got sucked into the vacuum. I tried to pull it out, but within a few quick seconds, the cord had been suck deep into the vacuum and the roller shredded it to a dangerous degree. The smell of burnt electrical wire and smoke was in the air! A few seconds more and who knows, sparks, fire, etc? I've had other vacuums before where I accidentally ran over the cord and nothing like this has ever happened. Off to buy another brand...
