I wanted a glass thermos to brew a bark powder concotion I would have to otherwise simmer for 20 minutes. Instead I just put powder in a thermos cover with boiling water, close tightly and 20 min (or more) later I have my brewed beverage. Steel "thermos" would not do for this. This thermos is very lightweight, the drinking cup locks on top. It is nice and very reasonably priced.

i used one for coffee and when it was opened two hours later there were broken pieces of glass inside, the inner glass wall just collapsed. the thermos wasn't thrown around at all or mishandled and thank God in Heaven no one drank from it. it was noticed immediately.
the company was very nice to deal with on the bright side. everything was taken care of without any worries and i actually don't mind dealing with them in the future. in the end all went well due to the dealings with the company and that's why i gave it two stars instead on one.

I received the item promptly and with no damage. It's very difficult to find a thermos that is smaller than the usual offered in many stores. this is a satisfactory size, but still would prefer smaller.
The look is very streamlined and very easy to carry due to handle and received beige. Really wanted blue, but didn't notice color selection, and colors depicted don't seem accurate.
Summing up...yes I would recommend this item if you're looking for a basic functional thermos, and there were no difficulties with arrival of shipment.

This thermos does the job...forgot to drink my tea one day at work and opened the thermos the next morning...it was still hot!
The only downside is the mouth of the thermos is kinda small for chunky soups and it's glass lined. I've broken one so far but for the amount of hot soups and drinks I've carried in them...I can live with that.

Thermos keeps the liquid hot. I did not think about what would happen if I dropped the thermos. The glass shattered inside and the thermos started to leak. Great product as long as you keep in a secure location.
