The weight and balance of this knife feel so RIGHT: hefty yet not cumbersome. I've bought two--so my wife and I can work together when we're preparing small items. Steel this knife after each use and it will remain razor sharp.
Bonus: these knives look gorgeous, too.

I have this and the 7" Hollow Edge Santoku. You will not need additional knives for anything.
This is a quality, weighty knife. It is well balanced and comfortable to use.

We needed a good pearing knife after a tip broke on ours and someone threw it out. After reading reviews of the China based Henkels, I decided since this is one size we use daily, why not spend a few extra and get the real thing. Its been a good one, and was super sharp and the thing is really quite heavy for its size, not a bad thing. Substantial is one way to look at it. Its a good one.

This is a great knife, after trying many paring knives I chose this one. I love the way it has a full size handle, most of my knives are from Shun but their paring knives have handles that are too small and uncomfortable to me, whereas in this series the handles are all nearly the same size.
Also this knife has considerable heft for a paring knife, all of the knives in the twin cuisine series are quite heavy, with much of the weight stemming from the full tang handle. In the case of the paring knife I think this is great, but I think it throws off the balance of some of the larger knives such as the chefs knife and santoku of this series. But of course knife preference is very subjective so I would recommend feeling and trying them out in person.

This 4" paring knife is easily one of the best available. The grip is well contoured and rests comfortably in the hand. The blade is razor sharp and thanks to a special process of ice-hardening it should remain so for quite some time. For those who will use the knife often enough, it's a good idea to buy the J.A. Henckels TWIN Pro 'S': 10" Sharpening Steel 32555 260 to help retain the edge almost indefinitely.
This is a small lightweight knife that is perfect for cutting cheese, apples, and other small items. Sometimes you not only don't need the heft of a big chef's knife, but only a small nimble blade will do the trick.
There are many knives available for a lot less money than the Twin Cuisine series. Unfortunately, cheap knives will never take and hold an edge like this one will. Try this knife just once and you'll be hooked on Twin Cuisine for good.
