The most valuable thing in this software is the calculation of yardage. Otherwise, the drawing/tracing tools are difficult and inadequate and it's too difficult to import scanned images to add your own fabric to your sketchbook. Overall a clumsy software.

I have had so much fun using this software it's almost a pity to leave off and actually go and make the quilt!



The handbook is so well written and easy to follow that I had no problems with extending the tutorials to play with my own ideas and I've been able to play around with far more options than I would have tried with pencil and paper.



I love the speed in which I can change colour, change fabrics, rotate blocks and add different borders. Fantastic! I dare anyone to find a better way to design a quilt.

I bought the foodsaver for my mom for Christmas. It is very user friendly. We tried meats first and felt it worked excellently. The bread came next and it was horrible, it squished so bad it was unreconizable. The bags and rolls themselves are pretty pricey, but we found a good deal at costco, so shop around. All in all, she wanted it for the meats in the freezer and for that purpose, we give it a thumbs up.

I have had a couple different versions of this 'type' of gadget over the past 10 years. 'THIS' particular one is THE WORST one I have EVER owned. It does not easily make bags, but most importantly ... IT DOES NOT SEAL ANYTHING!!! Only 2 times out the past 20 attempts was I able to actual seal something well enough to stick it in the freezer. When you have a problem and want to call the 800-people, better hope it happens during normal business hours ... the do NOT have after-hours help.



This unit stinks ... DO NOT BUY IT. Wish I had an alternative solution. This one stinks. Stay away!

Prior to using this FoodSaver, I used the HandiVac (which has been discontinued!). I've only used it a handful of times but so far no problems at all! It's very easy to use and vacuums out the air perfectly. I've only used it for freezing meats so far but I can't wait to try it on other things! 5 stars all the way!

This is my first sealer and so far I haven't had any issues with it. Only problem is that I ran out of things to seal the first day (ok, I got carried away).



I do think that the sealing bar is situated a bit too far from the edge of the unit causing some wasted bag space, but other than that I have enjoyed using this product.
