Very nice bag. Really appeciate the latex fitting--easy to put in and stays securely. And I don't notice any dust in the air now, no matter what I'm vacuuming. Would have given it 5 stars, except that the bag is a very square shape, whereas my Windtunnel vacuum (which uses Y bags) has a taller, narrower bag compartment than this bag, so the bag doesn't hold as much as it could, and I end up changing it earlier than I otherwise would. Chances are though, if you are paying $4 for a vacuum bag, you probably value your air quality more than you are looking for a bag that holds the most dirt per dollar. My wife's asthma used to flare up after I vacuumed; now it does not. :-)

I got this for my New Hoover Upright vaccum, after used up the original Hoover bag came with the vaccum, i purchased this two pack based on Amazon reviews. I used it for about 3 weeks (vaccuming about 6 to 7 times of two small rooms, and the bag is not even 1/4th full), it started smelling while doing vaccum and lost suction significantly. The original bag came with hoover worked for me for almost 3 months and never smelled and never lost suction. dont but it, either but Hoover original bag or cheap bags so that you dont feel bad to toss them as soon as they loose suction or starts smelling.

These bags are a must have if you are someone who does a lot of different things to keep the air in your home the cleanest it can be. I have never seen these in any store, have looked in many different stores in my area. I only knew they existed because of the info included with my vacuum cleaner. The larger size (and they still fit perfect) allows you to continue vacuuming without stopping to remove pet hair from the top of the bag, as I've had to do using other types of bags. Reading the reviews of this product before I bought it were very helpful to me, so please read the other reviews, too.

After noticing a burning smell while vacuuming I discovered that the belt had melted and then broke off. I ordered this belt and it works perfectly. I simple removed a few screws and pulled the roller out. Putting the new belt on can be difficult since you have to stretch it while trying to reinsert the roller. Just a Warning: I managed to take a few chunks out of my fingers in the process but thats not really the belts fault.

All it took was taking out 4 screws. The rollerbrush lifted out easy and I was able to replace the belt. Rollerbrush back in (a little strength required once the belt is on), 4 screws back in, and my vacuum works again.

Bought this pack of filters for my costco purchased eureka 2999 avz vacuum. They, along with replacing the HEPA filter and v-belt, brought new life to a vacuum I considered disposing of. I have noticed that the vacuum requires this filter to be "scraped off" every couple of runs for best performance.



Word of warning: I tried cleaning my old filter and then using water to clean it some more. Wow, big mistake. The water did get out extra dirt but all the trapped yeast, etc embedded in the filter caused the filter to start emitting a sulfur-y smell that all the vacuum exhaust was perfumed with. Yuck!

These bags are made by 3M, not exactly a fly by night organization. I am not sure why other people had a problem with them, but they worked as expected for me. They hold dirt, dust, hair, and everything else that gets sucked up. They also do not loose suction as the bag fills up.



The whole bag setup is a little strange on the Miele, so that might have something to do with other people having trouble.....

Bought these as a replacement for my Miele bags - figured Filtrete is a good brand and so these should be a good, cheaper alternative. WRONG. The plastic taps are too thin and too flexible to create a good seal - so it doesn't collect the particles in the bag and allows them to pass around it. My mistake - will stick with the real thing.

I got tired of the overpriced Miele bags ( $5 each, to fill with dirt and throw away? really?) and looked for an alternative. The 3m bags are still more expensive than the cheapest knock off bag, but they are the best engineered. Miele's reincarnated FJM bag now features a clapper valve that is supposed to shut between vacuuming sessions. Problem is, once the bag starts to fill, the debris prevents the valve from closing. This allows the contents to spill out when the bag is removed. 3m continues to use the old slide up door that clicks into place when you remove the full bag. As far as operational performance, I can discern no appreciable difference.
