I bought the shark pocket steam mop in January 2010. I also bought the xl kit which I use most of the time. After 6 months of regular use 1 time a week , the connection from the unit to the mop head frayed and the mop head had to be replaced. This should not happen in such a short period of time. The mop itself is a great product and really does the job of cleaning the floors. Hopefully, this new mop head will last longer.

I purchased the Euro-Pro Shark XL3501 Floor Kit from NewEgg to use with the Steam Pocket Mop. I thought with the EXTRA LARGE mop head that I would be able to clean MORE space FASTER, but after using it a few times I'm not convinced. To me, the XL mop HEAD seemed just a little too big for the mop. (It is about 1.5x bigger than the standard/regular size rectangle mop that comes with the mop.) The mop was more difficult to push and manuever with the XL head (which is why I probably didn't clean any faster). In addition, the actual cleaning surface of the mop bottom seemed to be primarily in the very center of the XL mop head (as evidenced by the dirt pattern on the bottom of the pad). This is a "nice to have" accessory, but not a necessary one. I personally prefer the standard/regular size rectangle mop head since it moves easier across the floor (which is why I subtracted 1 star from the XL mop head's rating). A better investment would probably be additional pads for the regular rectangle mop head.

If you have a Flip-it, this kit is well worth purchasing. You get two additional cloth cleaners plus an extra filter.



The filter is the real necessity -- after you use the Flip-it you can rinse out the filter and set it out to dry. Put the second (dry) filter in the unit so you're ready to go next time. Then, just keep alternating.



Granted, if you only have one filter you can let it dry and then put it back in. But, I tend to forget to do that, so having 2 filters makes it more convenient.



The cloths last a long time -- wish Bissell provided 2 filters and one cloth in the kit. But, fair price for what you get.

I own the Bissell Flip-It wet/dry vacuum cleaner. I have had occasional problems with the vacuums filter getting wet and or clogged with debris thus reducing its ability to vacuum up the dirty water from the floor. Aggravating! The extra filter would significantly reduce this aggravation. Extra cleaning pads are good to have available for replacement of the primary pad if it becomes extremely dirty. Pads then can be machine washed for future use.



Pro: With this kind of cleaning equipment, a back-up filter and cleaning pads are a necessity.



Con: Would have also like to get an additional filter and one brush with this accessory kit (priced accordingly with regard to a kit purchase).



Recommendation: Purchase on sale and definitely with free shipping to justify cost. I have found these items packaged separately at higher price at other stores. Con would not exist if Bissell had included brush and additional brush. Purchase would have earned 5 stars if the items in the Con area had been included.



Tip: Be sure to always dry vac. hard floor before using wet vac. Yes it sounds obvious, but having once forgot to dry vac. floor before washing, the amount of time to wet vac. floor was ridiculous. Brush and pad needed constant cleaning. Filter was worse, greatly reduced vacuum draw of dirty water due to blockage by debris, especially pet hair. Almost considered using garden hose to wet down floor and then squeegee the mess out the kitchen door. Not a good thing!

I ordered the three piece dryer Lint removal kit through Amazon.com and received my order this morning. I right away used it to remove lint from my dryer. It works okay and I got a lot of stuff out of my dryer. I also used the brush to loosen debris, worked really well.

I was happy to clean it all out for the first time since my dryer was bought.

I have to say the flexible attachment was handy, yet could use improvements in making it large enough to handle everything you suck out of your dryer. It clogged up many times and had to be unclogged.



All in all....I am glad I got that stuff out of my dryer.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! This was a total disappointment! I was looking forward to cleaning my new dryer with this, but NOPE!!!! The tube is so INFLEXIBLE, it only KINKS when you try to put it in your lent trap! As many of the reviews state, it's bent in several spots and I tried to straighten it, but it won't work! I should have listened to the other reviewers before I purchased this...I hope this helps others and they don't waste their money like I did. I would be embarrased to sell this product!!!!

This new light puts a very bright light on the front side of the machine. I purchased this item specifically to remove household dirt from crevices that I could not reach any other way. The attachment did fit onto my Bissell portable. Unfortunately, there was not enough suction using the straw type tube to remove anything other than lightweight dust. It does seem to be a good product for other uses, but I have not experienced any success yet. Shipping cost were a little high.
