Takes all day to charge then barely holds the charge long enough to do one medium sized room. Suction is only good for a minute - sometimes seconds - before you hear the motor start to wind down and all you're left with is a duster on a stick. It ignores anything larger than a breadcrumb. Terrible product, you might as well wrap an old t-shirt round a broom - it's basically the same thing.

I used one of these for a 2 bedroom apartment for 1 year. what drove me nuts was that I had to remember to plug it in one day before I planned on using it (if you charge it, unplug it, and then put it away, it would lose it's charge).
once it is fully charged, it just barely has the juice to cover a 2-bedroom apartment (mine was only about 600 sq feet).
if any debris bigger than 1mm got in front of it (for example, coarse dirt or a grain of rice), the vacuum didn't have enough clearance to pick it up. it would just push it around.
now for my tree hugger comment: this is a "use for one year and throw away" kind of appliance. it would be better for the environment (and in the long run, your pocket book) to invest in a better quality vac that you don't have to replace for a long time! I also hate that the cloths are disposable. so wasteful. however, you can use a reusable microfiber cloth on this kind of thing and then wash it.

The vac works very well at picking up dog hair, dust, and very small items. However, the battery does not last very long at all. It barely survives cleaning my living room and dining room and takes 18 hours to charge back up. I also occasionally have trouble with the swiffer pad moving which causes the unit to scratch along the floor.

laminate floors are very difficult to get rid of dust on.....most devices just move the dust around and a portion can be swept up.
Can't really use liquids due to possibility of bubbling the composite material used..The Vacuum portion of the sweeper takes care of that and it is inexpensive.

I've had this for a while and have liked it alot. Looked up these reviews to figure out if anyone else was having the sametrouble I have. The battery charge only works for one minute before the vacuum loses power. By reading some of the reviews I see I am not alone. I did see that one reviewer stated that the charge should be allowed to totally go dead before recharging. Maybe that was the cause of my problems. If that shortens the life I sure wish I had known it sooner!
