After learning that Target doesn't carry these any more (which is funny because Target still sells the vacuum), I about lost hope on ever finding these again. I tried looking at numerous stores but none had the filter I needed. I had to use my old filter for over 6 months!!! I'm so glad I finally found these filters online. It just goes to show how convenient it always is on amazon.

I've been cleaning my Eureka filter instead of replacing it so frequently. I remove the entire cylinder, take an old toothbrush, and clean it outside over my trash can. After unscrewing the top, I disconnect the filter and brush it to get most of the dust out. I bang it against the trash can several times, too. Then I take all 3 parts inside and rinse them thoroughly in warm water--I have a power nozzle that really scrubs the dirt out! I rinse the tank, the cover, and the filter thoroughly, then set them aside to dry for a few hours. Works for me.Crucial Vacuum Designed to Fit Eureka DCF 10/14

This filter is an important part of keeping my electric broom up to snuff. It needs to be replaced often and the price at the big name stores was out of sight. At this price I can replace it as often as needed, before I was cleaning the filter so as not to pay the high price. Thank you Amazon!
