As you'll see elsewhere here, the two main weaknesses of this machine are the front exhaust (causing it to blow the items you're trying to vacuum away if you are vacuuming a floor instead of carpet) and the ear-assaulting loudness.
If you are operating the unit you don't notice the sound so much but if you're in an adjacent room or even down the hall trying to work or talk on the phone, forget it.
But man, can this thing pick up. It's light, convenient, has an allergen filter option, and is easy to use. I love it and will buy its equivalent should this one ever expire. You get what you pay for, but in this case you get a little more in the form of good options, a well built machine, and great pickup.

I have owned a dirt devil vacuum before and found it quite satisfactory for the price. Not so this one. There are four complaints:
1. It is difficult and unpleasant to change from the floor to the hose. You have to physically shift the suction tube from the one to the other--no simple switch as with most vacuums. This means you avoid doing it as much as possible.
2. It exhausts out the front and blows the dust bunnies away. You literally have to try to sneak up on them and chase them down. They often get blown up in the air, and then you either have to wait for everything to settle, or come back later to find the room looking still un-vacuumed.
3. It is heck-of noisy.
4. The filter is difficult to clean.

Breeze vacuum was easy to assemble. Our maintenance crew uses one, so I bought one for the house. We have two shedding pets, vacuum works well on the hair. It is light, attachments stay in place, it seems very nice. I've had very expensive cleaners that do not meet this Breeze's performance, lite weight, ease of emptying.

This vacuum is absolutely astounding as a cleaning machine. Perhaps a little noisy but is easy to use, lightweight and outperforms my much heavier present vac which was a highlly rated machine by Consumers Report.

Can't beat this for the money. It's not the most rugged but, on the flip side, it's light and effortless to push. It is an upright that also functions as a canister. It has all the power of vacuums that are 5 times as expensive. Get this...
