The filter that comes with the Bodum Santos is terrible. Do yourself a favor and buy this one, it will eliminate a lot of avoidable stress.

This Yama cloth filter works great with the Bodum Santos siphon coffee maker. It does not block with a fine grind and generally gives excellent and predictable results. I found that the plastic one that came with my Santos would tend to block unpredictably and not drain, so brewing times could not be controlled.
