I bought the equivalent model Shop-Vac at a local hardware store; it's not quite the same SKU carried by Amazon but I think its essential vacuuming abilities are the same.



This little vacuum has quite the appetite, until the hose clogs with stuff you're vacuuming, at which point the suction goes to zero and it won't pick up anything at all. It took me a while to figure out what the problem was; the owner's manual troubleshooting section says to check the filter but doesn't say anything at all about stuff getting caught in the hose.



I've been using this to clean up after an outdoor construction project, mostly sucking up sawdust but there are also some small leaves and pine needles which seem to clog the hose really easily. All in all, I find myself having to disconnect the hose and shake it out every 5 minutes.

I purchased the shop vac for use in my aviaries to clean up the cages and floors where the bird cages are and it works great -- I needed a strong--compact--vacuum with a wide hose to pick up bird seed and peanuts, etc. without getting clogged in the vacuum hose. This shop-vac is second to none. Works excellent!! There's nothing it can't pick-up. In fact, if your not careful it will pick up items you didn't mean to vacuum. The wall mounting was very easy and it's great for holding all of the vacuums accessories.

i AM USING THIS VACUUM ON MY CUT OFF SAW. i HAVE A SWITCH THAT STARTS THE VACUUM WHEN THE SAW STARTS AND RUNS FOR 5 SECONDS AFTER THE SAW IS OFF. WORKS VERY WELL . i HAVE IT HANGING ON THE WALL ABOVE THE SAW.

This is a very handy item to have. It is suitable for light jobs only, though, and is easily clogged if you try to suck up trash from under the seats. I would say for dirt, dust, and small gum wrappers only. It is important to remember to empty the canister and clean the filters as directed or the life of this vac will be pretty short.
