This dryer works very well...dries my 20 lb cockapoo in record time. I mainly use it during winter months so he doesn't get sick from possible drafts. Very powerful. Noisy like a vacuum, but with any machine that uses horse power that's to be expected. I recommend it, just wish it was cheaper, but unfortunately you can't buy this level of quality for a lesser price. The price here on amazon was cheaper than Pet Smart. Cheapest I've seen anywhere.

This dryer is a fabulous product. Our pet groomer turned us to this dryer as the best blow dryer available aside from the professional ones on a stand. Although it's not stable enough to stand upright when in use as the 6' tube wiggles it around too much, it works great if you hang it from its strap--on your shoulder or from a cabinet or table. It sucks in fresh air from the bottom and it warms slightly as it passes over the motor on the way out the tube to dry the dog. It's way more powerful than a handheld hair dryer and drys in a much shorter time. For our Bichon Frise dog, it's perfect as his hair holds water when wet so this gets rid of the wetness while also gently straightening his hair a little. He doesn't much mind the noise from the dryer but I found it better to put cotton in his and my ears anyway. He's able to tolerate the drying also since he dries quicker than with a handheld human dryer. It's a simple machine and very effective for our dog. I've yet to try it for such things as a computer keyboard, bicycle, or leaf blowing! Guys might like it for dusting their home?!

I have 4 Maltese dogs that I groom weekly which took me about 1 hour per dog with my own hair dryer. I searched and searched for a dryer that would save me time and decided upon this one. I felt since my dogs were small this was the best value for the money and for the size of my dogs. The dryer does put out the perfect temperature for the dogs (1 star) , not to hot and not to cool. It dries their coats so they are fluffy with no tangles (2 stars). I always comb my dogs out before bathing, even so I was surprised with the force of air that comes out that their hair didn't tangle. I was pleased with this and also how nice they looked after dried. It is easy to use (3 stars). On the down side, I don't see that I save that much time with this dryer over my own hair dryer, maybe a little but not as much as I was hoping. All my dogs HATE it. I figured they would get use to it. I have used this dryer on them several times and they are now ok with it until I get close to the heads. They try to get away, when that doesn't work, they just put their heads down trying to shut out the noise. I even tried leaving the cotton in their ears hoping that would help, but no luck. I put the dryer under the table, but that didn't help either Also one of the little legs on the bottom of the dryer broke off very easily so I will take one star off for that. I actually would give this dryer about a 2 1/2 stars. In the mean time I will keep looking for a dryer that is more dog friendly.

Wow this is a great dryer much better than a hairdryer. People who are writting poor reveiws need to think again. What sound do you think the grooming dryers make guess what the same or louder. Sorry if your pets dont like the sound of a vacuum that is an owner issue. You don't see your pets reaction when you drop them off at the groomer guess what the same as you see when you are drying them with Air Force or a hairdryer. This dryer is super gentle and really not that loud. Got my dog use to the sound when it was just a puppy sleeps right thru the vacuum noise. My lab just lays there and loves it to death. It is easy to use long power cord and long hose. Works great!!!! Great buy and you will love it more than a hairdryer for sure trust me. If you want to keep towel drying go for it. Partner this product with the FURminator you are the salon.

I have a poodle which I purchased this dryer to groom her myself at home, I was not able to use the dryer since the loud noise would freak her out!.. i returned the unit in exchange for a 2hp b-air power dryer which turned out to be more powerful than the metro 4hp version.. how is that possible?

this is a great dryer. i have a 7 month old golden retriever and i give him regular baths. since goldens are prone to hot spots i didn't want to contribute to a possible problem by further irritating his skin with hot air so i was really excited at the fact that the dryer blows cool air - it is more the force of the air that actually dries the dog. the air does warm up but it is hardly at all and it has not caused any skin irritations on my pup at all. the only con to the dryer is the noise level - and it is much louder than a regular hair dryer despite what other reviews say and it has taken my pup some time to get used it, but it drys his hair in 20-25 minutes realistically and if he would settle down a little more during the process i am sure it would take about 10-15 minutes. hope this helped you out!

I purchased this product but will be returning it for a less powerful model. Although the product appears well built, it was advertised as being appropriate for small dogs. I found the power to be way too strong to use on my Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. An attached label says not to use the product on low speed for extended periods however the advertisement said that the low speed was for use on small dogs. I can't even imagine using the product to dry their ears even on the low speed. I am not a professional groomer and wanted the product for home use.



The product arrived very quickly and appears to be very well built. I just didn't find it appropriate for use on my small dogs because it was just too strong.

This vacuum has great design and SUPER suction. The cord is nice and long - a big plus. We use it to suck up dirt, ash and wood particles around the hearth of our wood burning stove (obviously NOT hot ash)--- and for the stairway and will also be using it to clean inside our cars. Would give it 5 stars but wish the paper-type filter held a bit more and was washable and permanent (i.e., nylon or metal fine mesh)instead of needing to order filters - although you CAN empty and re-use the filter several times as is and two filters come with the vacuum. We really love it and are very pleased with the purchase. It's a terrific vacuum!

I just received this vac from Amazon and already I love it!

Extremely well made and light weight.

Powerful vac and the back end is a "blower".

The blower part is not as powerful as the blowers

the gardeners use but can be quite useful in certain

situations.



As one reviewer mentioned, the flexible hose and

extra filters are not sold on Amazon.



I found both the 3' and 6' flexible hoses and

extra filter bags at AutoGeek (dot) net.



I would recommend this vac to anyone wanting

an excellent hand vac.

I found the product cumbursome to maneuver and the suction diminished after about 5 minutes of vacuuming. The hose wasn't long enough which caused the vacuum to get josteled around while I vacuumed. Using the attachments directly attached made it difficult to get around the tighter spaces. I was disppointed that it did not meet my expectation and I ended up returning it.

This has to be the WORST vacuum for a car I have ever used! First of all, the brush attachment wasn't even included, not that it would make a darn bit of difference. The suction is non-existent...I bought it primarily to help with pet hair and the hair didn't even MOVE! If this is an example of the workmanship of an American company that has been in business for 75 years, we are in a lot of trouble! I'm only thankful I didn't invest in one of their "high end" products to the tune of $175. Whether it's encased in chrome or plastic, it's still a horrible product!

So far I'm very happy with this little vacuum. It's very light weight makes it much more maneuverable than a large vacuum and I've been using it to vacuum bookcases and shelves and walls and ceilings that are up off the floor. It's got great sucking power for something so lightweight. The only problem I have with it is cleaning out the little dust bag inside. It has a tendency to tear if I'm not careful. Also, the end sometimes comes off (revealing the dust bag) while I'm vacuuming if I'm twisting it around too much.
