I have been using Persil since I purchased my Miele front-loader washing machine. I first tried it because it was the brand recommended by the manufacturer. I have found it to be excellent for cleaning whites and towels, etc. I use bleach only rarely now. I use the Persil Megaperls for Colors for my dark and prints laundry; that is also excellent and doesn't fade the colors. I highly recommend this detergent. A little goes a long way, especially for front-loading washing machines.

Persil is the best product for your laundry that is out there. Eventhough it is more expensive..it is worth every penny. Also there is a water softener in the detergent as well. For those who have hard water..that is a extra benefit. You get what you pay for. This is the mercedes of laundry detergent.

I like this product. It has been difficult for me to find powdered HE laundry detergent for my front loader. It does a good job cleaning my clothes and it dissolves nicely (no residue left in the detergent cup). I'm not sure that it does any better job than the liquid All Small & Mighty that I had been using before. I find the fragrance to be quite strong, although not objectionable. This box will last me a long time...I have soft water and really don't need to use much (unless the load is REALLY dirty, I'm only needing to use about 1 Tablespoon).

To get clean laundry this is the best you can get.

You don't need a lot of detergent and you don't need to add bleach

to get your laundry clean.

I also have a laundry machine that is a front loader and this machine is able to heat the water and control

the temperature. So I get the best results with Persil - and the fabrics and the laundry machine are preserved well, the stains are gone.



The only contra is:

the price.

In Europe I can get 2.375 kg for under 10 Euro (incl. Taxes), that is

under 15 Dollars.

Here I have to pay for 1.2 kg 19.50 Dollar - that is more than twice the price!!!



So two stars less for the horrifying price.

I gave 1 star not because of the product itself. The product is absolutely great. We have Miele W4802. This detergent works very well as advertised. I heard that Tide HE works well too but some customer reviews out there are saying it's hard to get all powder off the cloth - so we went for Persil. We are happy.



The problem IS:



As soon as I placed the order, I realized that our local Miele store has the same product that actually costs a little less. We can get it right away instead of waiting for shipping. i immediately tried to contact the seller from Amazon website. There is no phone number and only email is made avalaible. I sent them 2-3 emails asking for cancellation but they NEVER responded!!! In a few days, the product arrived.



I think it is totally iresponsble if you allow customers to contact you and you don't intend to respond to our requests. At least, I would like to get a response saying something. No, never heard a word from them. I hope Amazon can monitor these sellers and give them feedback if these sellers don't live up to their promise.



Be aware of this problem. I don't think there is a way that customer can cancel an order with this seller.

I like this product, but don't feel it does any better job than what I had been using before. It is hard to find powder HE detergent for my front loading machine, so this was a nice find. The fragrance is strong, but not objectionable. One box will last a VERY long time as I only need about 1 Tablespoon of detergent per load as I have soft water.

Nobody needs to sell me on Persil products, because I know they are the BEST, although I think all Persil products are way to expensive. I know that they are being sold in Germany for a fraction of what it costs here in the US. This is just to let everybody know that I am pleased with the merchant, who delivered as promised, and unless I find Persil or other products at a much lower price at other merchants shops' I will use this one again.

We are doing a home exchange vacation here in Nanaimo, Vancouver Island, BC,CA from Fountain Hills, AZ USA. The home has a fabulous new front-load Miele laundry pair, which I had never tried before, as well as a giant box of PERCIL Universal Pearls Laundry Detergent. While at first sceptical of the VERY small amount of Percil needed per load, as well as the barely-there water level in the washer tub, I was then blown away by the SUPERB RESULTS! My clothes and linens have NEVER looked and smelled this fresh and clean! I will be looking for a mega box of Percil to take home with us in our RV (which is our travel mode) and will be seriously considering changing out my old top-load washer and dryer for a front-load, water-saving pair at the next break-down opportunity. The stingy amounts of water required would be perfect as well for arid AZ. GREAT!!!
