During the first hot days of summer I noticed a 'mouse' smell coming from the attic. We trapped a few mice in there the past winter and presume there must have been a bed or two in the walls/rafters. The hot sun on our tin roof heated it up. My husband wasn't too excited about tearing out the insulation so I did some internet research on how to get rid of mouse smell. I found this product suggested, so went to Amazon and searched. The customer reviews didn't seem too promicing that this product would help with 'mouse' but I decided to try it anyway. I ordered a box of jars. They arrived within a week. I opened a jar and put it in the attic space. First it smelled of pine and mouse and now just the pine. When summer is over and the windows get closed I plan to put two more jars in a couple mostly unused rooms that stay closed and get musty smelling over the winter. I'm happy I bought this product.

Fresh Wave really does eliminate odors. I keep one in the kitchen near my trashcan and I notice when it runs out because the trash odor comes back. These are also very nice to keep out while away on vacation, my house doesn't have the musty smell of being closed up for a week when I leave a Fresh Wave out.

When my husband and I bought this stuff, the lady at the store swore it was great for cat litterbox smells. No such luck! We've noticed absolutely no perceptible change in the strength of smell around the litter box areas, even with the Fresh Wave jar sitting right on top the box. I would not recommend it for anything other than the most delicate of unpleasant odors
